PolarBear Construction is a Finland-based building and renovation company specializing in full-scale residential projects, cottages, and selected public and commercial spaces. We deliver complete new builds and comprehensive renovations for detached houses, semi-detached and row houses, always with a strong focus on quality, functionality, and long-term value.
The company is founded and led by Momo Kafami, an experienced timber builder and interior designer with a deep background in hands-on construction. Over the years, Momo has worked as a carpenter, builder, and renovator on a wide range of projects—from traditional cottages to modern homes and demanding renovation sites. This practical experience is complemented by professional collaboration as a trusted subcontractor for established companies such as Piispanristin Saha Oy, Lumon Oy, and Tremex Oy.
At PolarBear, we take a holistic approach to construction. Our services cover the entire building process, including structural carpentry, wall and insulation work, roofing with metal sheets and bitumen, interior renovations, flooring installations (parquet, laminate, and vinyl), surface treatments, painting, paneling, and exterior structures such as terraces and fences. We also specialize in distinctive finishing techniques, including microcement, lime-based paints, resin, and epoxy solutions.
PolarBear Construction operates primarily in Southwest Finland, with completed projects in areas such as Turku, Hyvinkää, Sipoo, and Helsinki. Whether it is a full home build, a demanding renovation, or a custom cottage project, our goal is always the same: to deliver durable, well-crafted spaces that meet the client’s needs and stand the test of time.
